Purpose and procedures This research participation session consists of several small studies that aims to examine perceptions and atittudes.

Procedure You will complete several short surveys. Completion takes approximately around 30 minutes. Your responses are of great importance to us and we hope that they will help advance our understanding of those fields.

Compensation for participation For your successful participation in this study, you will receive compensation of HK45$.

Potential risks This procedure has no known risks greater than those of ordinary daily life.

Potential benefits This study explores an area that has not been thoroughly examined in previous research. It thus has the potential to add to existing research in the field. It is important because it can provide empirical data to the existing literature. We also hope that this study can provide you a learning experience about how to conduct social psychological research.

Confidentiality Any information obtained in this study will remain strictly confidential and will be used for research purposes only.

Participation and withdrawal Your participation is totally voluntary. This means that you may withdraw at any time simply by telling the experimenter that you wish to do so without any negative consequence.
